Sharpe Pritchard promotes planning and dispute resolution specialists to partner
Leading public law firm Sharpe Pritchard has promoted a dispute resolution specialist and a planning lawyer to partner.
The promotions of Joe Walker and Emily Knowles, who both trained at the firm, were effective from the beginning of the month.
Walker furthered his career elsewhere and then re-joined the firm in April 2022 as a senior associate.
He specialises in real estate and planning disputes, public law matters, and complex commercial issues.
Over the years, he has advised a broad spectrum of clients, from central and local government to multinational corporations, “delivering practical legal solutions with an unwavering focus on his client’s goals”, Sharpe Pritchard shared.
Knowles, who began her career with the firm as a trainee solicitor in 2015, represents both public and private sector clients, negotiating and drafting legal agreements for significant national and local development projects.
The firm said her portfolio includes estate regenerations, garden and urban villages, sports facilities, reservoirs, and major transport initiatives.
Justin Mendelle, Senior Partner at Sharpe Pritchard, said: “We are incredibly proud to promote Joe and Emily to partner this year in recognition of their outstanding contributions and unwavering dedication to client service.
“At Sharpe Pritchard, we firmly believe that our people are our greatest asset. That is why we take great pride in supporting their growth and ensuring that our people have the opportunities they need to thrive at every stage of their careers.
“We are excited to see how Joe and Emily will continue to drive the firm forward as we expand our reach and expertise.”
