ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

SATNAM VIRDI
PRINCIPAL OF SV LAW
Satnam is the convenor of LASEN. He founded his own firm in 1994, is current Chair of the Education Law Association, and recently spoke at IPSEA’s SEN Law Conference 2025. He has worked in-house in a large LA and as a part-time Financial Services Ombudsman. He will present on ’Handling High Volumes of Cases Effectively’.

Steve is a leading public lawyer, described as “the Godfather of education law”, and co-author of ‘Disabled Children: A Legal Handbook’. He has recently been involved in litigation concerning SEN Safety Valve Agreements. His talk is titled ‘Squaring the Circle: Lawful Decision Making in the Context of Limited Funding’

Anna has a broad public law practice with expertise in the Court of Protection (health and welfare) and education law.
