The Law Commission has now finally reported on its proposed changes to residential leasehold law. The government has given an initial response and, in addition, is bringing forward its own proposals to restrict residential ground rents. But what precisely is likely to change? And when? Kimberley Ziya worked for the Law Commission on the reports and Rupert Cohen has been forced to read all the reports so you don’t have to.
