Discrimination and public sector equality duty (PSED) issues frequently play an important role in possession claims centred on the anti-social conduct of the tenant, their household and/or visitors. A comparatively recent example of this can be seen in Metropolitan Housing Trust Ltd v TM, in the High Court at [2020] EWHC 311 (QB) and Court of Appeal at [2022] 1 W.L.R. 2161.
This webinar seeks to focus on any need for expert evidence in such cases and whether that should be by single joint expert or otherwise, what information should be sought (and by whom), questions to the expert and whether in-person attendance is required.
It will be presented by Andrew Lane and Victoria Osler, senior members of Chambers’ Housing and Public Law Teams.
