The Data Protection and Digital Information Bill was first introduced to Parliament last Summer and paused in September 2022. It has now been re introduced with changes. Ministers say they have "engaged in a co-design process with business leaders and data experts' ensuring that the new regime built on the UK's high standards for data protection and privacy, and seeks to ensure data adequacy while moving away from the 'one-size-fits-all' approach of European Union's GDPR." The revised Bill amends the UK GDPR, Part 3 of the DPA 2018 and PECR.
In this online workshop, our expert trainer examines the Bill in detail and considers what needs to be done now to ensure compliance. They will also analyse all the latest GDPR news and enforcement action from the UK and across Europe to help you form an action plan for avoiding the attention of the ICO.
